ABOUT CONFERENCE
CHALLENGES AND THREATS TO CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES

We invite you to take part in the 2st International Scientific and Practical Conference “CHALLENGES AND THREATS TO CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES”, dedicated to the current problems of risk and threat assessment, modeling, development of methods of protection and cyber protection of critical infrastructure facilities, development of relevant information systems and telecommunication technologies , which will be held on June 29-30, 2023. on the basis of the State Research Institute of Cyber Security and Information Protection Technologies, the Association of Civil Defense Specialists and the Institute for Cyberspace Research (Kyiv, Ukraine).
Scientists, experts, civil servants, entrepreneurs, teachers, graduate students, students, engineers, specialists are invited to participate in the conference.
The organizing committee will be grateful if you share this information with your colleagues.

PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE
Highlighting the most important achievements in the theory and practice of scientific evaluation of cyber security, man-made and ecological safety of the population from the consequences, threats and risks of damage to critical infrastructure
GOALS OF THE CONFERENCE
- Definition of the conceptual foundations of the main directions of development of this field of science and technology in the modern realities of Ukraine and the world and in the strategic perspective.
- Analysis of methods and ways of managing the protection of various critical infrastructure objects based on information systems and telecommunication technologies.
- Analysis of the possibilities of using methods of modern information and telecommunication technologies in the process of building cyber protection systems of critical infrastructure objects.
- Free exchange of opinions through the publication of relevant scientific materials.

- Theoretical and methodological bases for assessing cyber threats, technogenic and environmental threats and risks for critical infrastructure.

MATERIALS OF THE CONFERENCE
Abstracts of the reports included in the conference program will be send to all authors by e-mail in early july 2023. In addition moreover, the collection will receive an ISBN number as a printed edition. The best reports will be published in professional scientific journals of Ukraine.

Working languages of the conference: Ukrainian, English.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PREPARATION OF THESES FOR PUBLICATION
The report is provided in Ukrainian or English. Authors must comply with legal requirements for publishing materials in the open press.
Order of placement of material:
• UDC code;
• title of the report in the original language;
• surnames and initials of all authors;
• organizations represented by the authors;
• e-mail of the author responsible for the report;
• title of the report in English (for theses in other languages);
• abstract in English (from 50 to 100 words);
• the main text of the report;
• a list of literary sources.
When preparing report materials, you must use the template posted below
WARNING!
• Automatic word transfers and use of macros are not allowed.
• Mark paragraphs only with the “Enter” key, do not use spaces or tabs (“Tab” key).
• It is not allowed to use condensed or sparse font.
Theses that do not meet the specified requirements will not be considered!

Applications for participation in the conference and reports are sent by e-mail:
mihajlova-a-v@ukr.net in Word-2003 format files (A4 page format, all margins 2 cm, Times New Roman font, point 14, spacing 1.0), the volume of the main text of the report — from 1 full page to 4 pages.
